Lazy Sunday

Thanks Devorah!

The big guns arrived this week: Devorah came from Toronto to meet Coop and to share her knowledge and expertise on getting through this phase of parenthood. Devorah has 3 kids of her own, and several hundred nieces and nephews. And so while I am still wiping away Mel's tears, which have been flowing since the shuttle came to pick Devorah up this morning, I think we're equipped with a few new tricks to soothe Coop when he turns into his evil, alter-ego Phil. (Long story about Phil, but that's what we call him when he acts as if he is possessed by demons.)

As you can see, Coop and Devorah really hit it off! And she helped us SO much. It was awesome. And while I could not get her to admit that Coop was the most gorgeous little creature she had ever seen, she seemed pretty smitten with his deliciousness. Thank you, Devorah.

Len and Coop love to dance to music. Coop's partial to the 80's but he also really likes new stuff, like Feist. So, what a surprise when in the mail today, he received this Feist onesie. Does anyone reading this blog know who sent it? Coop is grateful for the cool threads and would like to thank the sender of such a great gift.

Strolling

I've heard he's supposed to like going in the stroller, but so far he just screams his head off in it. But we'll keep trying!

8 Pounds!

He did it, Coop has gone above his birth weight (finally!) and we think it looks great on him!

Aunt Chopped Liver

Sorry, I forgot to mention that Coop met his aunt Andrea (aka chopped liver, or maybe veggie pate?) and his uncle Joe.

Bubs & Pops, Grandma & Grandpa

Coop met all of his grandparents this week!

Swingin'

Coop got a swing (thanks Steffi!), he seems to really like it. And as Len said when we put him in it "this swing could change our lives".
