Room with a View

Here is a photo of a corner of the nursery. We are getting very excited about the arrival of the little Mellen and are hoping to get the rest of the nursery furniture by the end of next week. It's hard to tell in the photo because there's so much light coming in, but the curtain matches the pillow on the chair (I love this fabric, it is imported from Japan). It's all starting to come together, hope he likes it!

What to Wear

I love baby clothes, they are so tiny and cute. So far I have resisted buying a "little Len" outfit (button shirt and vest), but I think I will break down pretty soon. We have been trying not to buy too much, but did want to get the little Mellen a few good outfits for his arrival and first photo shoots. Here are a couple, which is your favorite?

Our new computer arrived yesterday and we love it and are so happy to be able to start posting again! So, I'll start posting new photos regularly and you can start commenting again, okay?

Waiting

No, still 6 more weeks before the baby. But we are waiting for our new computer to arrive. Hopefully in the next couple days and then we can start posting photos and updates again, and hopefully hearing from everyone again, we miss you!

Busy Week

My mom came to visit for a week (while my dad was in Vegas, gambling away $3 in the penny slot machines, who knew they had penny slot machines?). She helped us so much. While she was here she, assembled a desk, and a filing cabinet, unpacked boxes, moved furniture, hung artwork, and was dragged to about a million baby stores (hopefully that last part was fun). Our place now feels a lot more comfortable, and almost all of the decisions have been made. Thanks mom!
